Unlike traditional indoor escape rooms on the Strip or in strip malls, The Red Light Project takes place in 100% real wilderness terrain. You don't drive to a building — you are transported to a remote location and left in total isolation until, if, you reach the getaway car. Think of it as a live action survival horror experience combining the high-stakes tension of the Saw franchise with the raw atmospheric dread of The Blair Witch Project. Our Hunters can and will leave a bruise. This is the most extreme and immersive escape experience in Nevada.

We prefer to call it a live action survival horror experience: real wilderness terrain, a real Hunter, real consequences. You are still trying to escape. Nothing about that part is simulated.

You are in the field with your group for up to two hours, making real decisions in real darkness. It is a haunted house that hunts back.

Yes. The Red Light Project operates year-round in the greater Las Vegas area. Terrain and secondary location assignments rotate seasonally. Summer runs begin at dusk. Winter runs begin earlier. Conditions are part of the operation.

Is this experience actually dangerous?

Paintball impacts cause bruising. Terrain is uneven. You will be running in low or no light. A Ghost Marshal is deployed in the field at all times. A panic whistle protocol terminates all gameplay immediately on three blows. Physical safety is built into the operation — it is simply not advertised loudly.

What physical condition is required?

Subjects must be capable of sustained movement over uneven terrain for up to 90 minutes. Elevation changes and sprint intervals are expected. No prior athletic training required, but subjects in poor cardiovascular condition should assess candidacy carefully before submitting intake.

Closed-toe shoes with ankle support. Clothing you are prepared to get dirty. Jumpsuits are issued at transport. Personal items are secured in a lockbox before departure. Avoid loose jewelry or accessories that could catch on terrain.

Three blows on the panic whistle stops all play immediately. A Ghost Marshal will escort the subject to a secure holding area. No questions asked. No gameplay override exists for this protocol.

Operational coordinates are not disclosed at intake. Subjects are transported from a designated meeting point in the greater Las Vegas area. Primary terrain: Spring Mountains / Mt. Charleston corridor. Secondary locations rotate seasonally.

$175 per subject covers transport, full event operation, assigned Hunter, survival gear backpack, jumpsuit, and post-run debrief. The Found Footage Package and additional operational upgrades are available separately at intake.

Solo intake is available via direct request. Public lobby buy-in allows single subjects to join an existing confirmed group. Solo runs without additional subjects require custom arrangement.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older. No exceptions. This operation involves physical contact, psychological distress elements, and execution of a full liability waiver.

What happens if you get eliminated?

Three paintball impacts and your run ends. You will be collected by a Hunter and escorted to a holding area. Your group can continue without you — or they can risk going back to revive you. If the entire group goes down, the run ends for everyone.

Yes. Hunters are authorized to make physical contact as part of operation. Grabs, restraints, and disorientation can be part of it. Subjects are informed of this at waiver execution. Contact is controlled and within operational parameters.

Yes. Field personnel are trained performers operating under character directive for the duration of the run. You are interacting with people who have done this before and know exactly what they are doing.
